I'm not going to lie. Como was a blur. It was gorgeous and the food was delightful. To be completely honest my partner in crime Dominique and I only had one mission. Find George Clooney's home. Mission accomplished.

Here are some of the highlights of my italian life!

CIAO BELLA

Balsamic and Parmigiano Reggiano. Dreams come true.

MODENA

Florence has a special place in my heart. My home away from home. What better way to find yourself than taking a stroll in history filled vias and eating gelato?!

FLORENCE
spring 2006

Holidays can be enjoyed many different ways. Decorations and some decadent pastries tend to be my favorite aspect cross culturally. Florence's way of celebrating Easter? Sparklers and flag throwing. I could stand behind that.

EASTER IN FLORENCE
spring 2006

Some say the birthplace of Pesto. I say yum! The food was so delicious and the scenery was breathtaking! Give me pirates and italian food any day.

CINQUE TERRE
spring 2006

I was so excited to visit Viareggio during its Carnivale. Celebration is beautifully translated here including full on adult costume. One festival down....hundreds more to go!

TORINO

Bring on the winter Olympics! No tickets? No problems! Exploring the town even for a short amount of hours made us feel close enough to a part of history.

VERONA
spring 2006

Romeo and Juliet may not have ever stepped foot in Verona but they definitely but the city on the map. Another beautiful town with amazing food and gelato. Done and done.

Rome was the first trip I ever made on my own. As the first stop over on my semester abroad I met students from around the world. Please notice my horrible taste in clothing and my frizzy hair. Cut me some slack...I was excited to be free. Clothing was not a priority.

FIRST TIME IN ROMA!

VENICE

CARNEVALE! Ok just the days before the big festival but it was exciting enough to be in what some consider the most romantic city. Next time I visit I will definitely go on a gondola!
